The Sunshine Underground, Empathy Test, CLUB.THE.MAMMOTH. Djs
Armed with an angular, beat-heavy sound similar to that of Franz Ferdinand or the Kaiser Chiefs, The Sunshine Underground – named after a Chemical Brothers track – got their start playing gigs in the Leeds area in the early 2000s. Since, they’ve gone on to see chart success with singles including ‘Put You In Your Place’.
UK synth pop duo Empathy Test, AKA singer Isaac Howlett & producer Adam Relf, have received strong support and coverage from the likes of MTV’s Catfish, XFM, KCRW, BBC Introducing, Clash and Idolator. Since self-releasing their debut EP ‘Losing Touch’ in February, Empathy Test have picked up thousands of fans via sheer word-of-mouth and late-night tweets. In spring of 2014, the band signed to Brooklyn’s Stars & Letters Records, with their follow-up EP “Throwing Stones” releasing December 9th, 2014.
CLUB.THE.MAMMOTH. are London based music promoters, Djs, independent label and management company. Running regular nights in London we try to pick the best cutting edge bands and Djs that we think should be heard.
