After eight years, two albums and countless tours alt-rockers, Dinosaur Pile-Up, have reached their final form, completed by drummer Mike Sheils and bassist Jim Cratchley. Together, they’re recording their third album which is set to see the band go harder, faster and terrifyingly heavier than ever before.
When it comes to touring, Dinosaur Pile-Up are just as intense as their music. In the last year alone, they’ve hit the States three times, Japan twice, Europe, India and their native UK. That’s a hell of an itinerary for a live show as notoriously savage as theirs.
After touring the UK with Royal Blood and becoming Zane Lowe’s “Next Hype” on Radio 1, Brighton’s grunge-pop trio Tigercub are on track to become one of 2015ʼs breakthrough acts. 2014 saw them make huge waves after being chosen as sole-support on Royal Blood’s sell out UK tour in February. Since then they have been playing to packed crowds up and down the UK supporting The Bronx, The Family Rain, Blood Red Shoes and Dinosaur Pile-Up.
After the success of their debut single ‘Blue Bloodʼ Tigercub have begun to cement their own reputation as a fierce live proposition and are steadily building a fan base of hungry rock fans. Tigercubʼs second single ʻCentrefoldʼ produced by Tom Dalgety (Royal Blood, Band of Skulls, The Family Rain) is being released through Blood Red Shoesʼ own label Jazz Life on 1st December 2014. Itʼs a pulsating, attitude-drenched anthem, ready for sweaty moshpits and radio airwaves alike.
