Will & the People

Will and the People are a Rock band from the UK… The project was started by singer songwriter William Rendle in Brighton England and put together over a series of years… They have two albums and the third is out this year.. They are fast gaining fans and like to think of themselves as the kind of band who make an impact on their fans… They are not just playing songs. They are living through music.

Vanbot

Stockholm melody master Vanbot has announced her return with upcoming album Perfect Storm, the electropop purist’s followup album to her 2011 debut. Riding on the acclaim from the likes of Nylon, The Guardian, Pop Justice, Interview Magazine and MTV, the Johannes Berglund (The Knife, I Break Horses) produced & mixed record sees Vanbot embark on a darker and more evocative spectrum than previous outings.

Shelving a virtually complete album in 2013 after a creative breakdown, Vanbot (real name Ester Ideskog) began anew and vowed to lean away from musical norm in search of a greater bite and growl. Despite the change in direction, Vanbot still thrives on the same DIY spirit and never ending enthusiasm for crafting unstoppable pop. The result is one of the strongest pop albums of the year so far, where every song has great single potential, whilst the complete listen takes one on a unique journey.

Perfect Stormis shadowy and dangerous and will rub shoulders with the likes of Lykke Li’s 2014 release INever Learn and or Nikki & The Dove’s debut, Instinct.Vanbot’s trademark melody perfection from previous releases remains but it has been made slicker and more pliable, now part of the wider conversation and not the sole focus. Driving beats and tense compositions now take precedence, with Vanbot now leaner, edgier and gloriously confident in her freedom to create exactly what she wants with part cowriters Jan Kask and Adam Olenius (Say Lou Lou, Tove Styrke, Shout Out Louds).

Mirror Signal

Mirror Signal is a 20 year old Steven Barker from Suffolk, England. Getting into music around the age of 9, and writing since the age of 12, Steven has grown into a keen songwriter and producer with an ear for melody and groove. Turning to Electronic influences in 2012, Steven bought a Macbook and used his skills he picked up at college to start work on a solo EP, taking soul, jazz and electronic influences into consideration.

Since the “Broken Soldier” EP release in April 2013, Steven has been picked up by management, had support slots with the likes of Jamie Cullum, Andreya Triana and Young Kato among others, played at huge UK festivals such as Reading and Leeds, Latitude and Isle of Wight, as well as radio support from Radio 1, 2, 6 Music, XFM and many regional stations. A new EP is planned for early 2015.
